Colour Fields Pop-up Bar at MCA
CARONA’S CURTAINS PASS WITH FLYING COLOURS
Inspired by a recent exhibition, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) wanted to incorporate some alfresco colour into its Circular Quay location. It turned to Scoundrel Projects for a creative solution.
Scoundrel Projects’ James Dive and Adrian Shapiro conjured up a vibrant destination for quayside drinks – the Colour Fields pop-up bar – and worked with production service Yippee Ki-Yay to bring their vision to life.
And it was Carona’s PVC Strip Curtains that delivered the desired effect.
“Scoundrel Projects came to us with their concept. We did a lot of research and found Carona’s PVC curtains were the perfect material for this project,” said Brad Burnet, owner of Yippee Ki-Yay. Not only were Carona’s PVC curtains the perfect width and thickness, they could be painted in exactly the right colours with vinyl paints.
